http://pamela-kieffer.blogspot.com that me!
It's all about the birds and I have known many birds in many places. Wild parrots in the middle east.,glorious white pigeons in Florida, flamingos in Kenya. Then there are lots of home grown ones flying out of my work room. I had to add the one who was perched on my back porch last week. I think it was on it way further north for the summer. I spotted a hummingbird in the red azaleas a few days ago. A spotter to see if their feeders have been put out yet.
Thanks you to our leaders and to all the ladies for their informative bird stories. I have enjoy being part of this blog.
So many beautiful birds! Thanks for sharing! :O)
ReplyDeleteYour bird quilt is stunning-very beautiful. The picture on your header of the mountains is also gorgeous. I live in the California and we have many mountain ranges, the Sierra Nevada being the most famous that includes the awesome granite in Yosemite. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talents. Rosemary

ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful bird projects. I think I need to make a bird something for myself. Thanks for sharing all of those.
ReplyDeleteI love the Blue Ridge Mountains - they are beautiful! They are home to many, many beautiful birds. Your projects are absolutely beautiful. The chicken/rooster quilt is gorgeous. The colors are eye popping! The eye is drawn from one area to another with the vibrant colors. I love pastels and naturally, the pastels of the basket quiltis very appealing to me. It is very calming and soothing to me. Quite a contrast to the first quilt. It's amazing how different quilts can be and yet have great appeal. The strutting pheasant is wonderful! The woodpecker is so realistic that I can almost hear the peck, peck, peck! I'm amazed at the detail in the paper piecing! Look at the detail of the feet even! The fabric choice makes the bird look so realistic. I love the cardinals on the snowy fence rails (tree limbs). Brrr! I think we are all ready for a change from that for a while. That's another interesting bird/basket quilt. I really like the colors in it - very, very pretty. And I love the picture of the real birdie. Thanks for participating in the blog hop and being a great, great inspiration. Thanks for the very creative look at birds. I hope to see you in more hops very, very soon.
