This quilt is one of my first done in 1979 in Taif, Saudi Arabia. Home on leave in Virginia I spotted this wall hanging at a quilt show and just fell in love with it.  I guess living in the desert at the time had something to do with it.  I figured if I could  make the lady bugs and strawberries the rest of it would be easy-peasy.
This second one is for the a doll quilt swap.  I hope Diane likes it...

  1. What a beautiful contrast your appliqué quilt is in comparison to a desert. It is a very cheerful quilt! Your doll quilt is adorable with the kitty :)
