Book Crossers

Just this morning I read an interesting article in the Seattle Times about a group of persons call the book crossers . Checked it out and found it an interesting way to share favorite books with the world. Find it at WWW.book crossing.com

Beautiful fall is on it way to Virginia. We have had plenty of rain so the leaves should color up nicely. We live just about 30 minutes from the Blue Ridge Mountains and the drive up that way is most rewarding. Don't go on a weekend, all of northern Virginia is there --- they don't know how to drive on country roads. As an added bonus plenty of apples, cider and pumpkins found on roadside stands.

  1. I can only imagine how lovely your area must look in Autumn. We have visited PA many times but never in this season. Enjoy the beautiful colours.

  2. Hi Pamela, hope you are doing great! I tried to leave comment before but kept having some errors. It's probably my browser. Hope you are enjoying stunning Fall colors and crisp weather at your end :) Thank you for the link to Book crossers! I will take a peek.

  3. Such beautiful countryside along the roads of the Blue Ridge Mountains. And those rhododendrons (I think?) are stunning! Will be checking out your book crossing link.

  4. Book Crossings is a cool idea and has been around for a while. When my wife and I geocached, we would occasionally run across a Book Crossings book in a geocache. While I never found one that I wanted to read, we did dutifully move them along to another cache. Unfortunately geocaches are not kind to books, they often leak and are subjected to vandalism by "muggles" (non-geocaching folk of low spiritual development).
